In today’s world, there’s a lot of conversation around sexuality and identity, including LGBTQ topics. As followers of Christ, it’s important to approach these conversations with both truth and grace.
From a traditional biblical perspective, the Bible teaches that God created marriage to be between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24), and that sexual relationships are designed to take place within that covenant. Throughout both the Old and New Testaments, same-sex sexual activity is consistently described as outside of God’s design (see Romans 1:26–27, Leviticus 18:22, 1 Corinthians 6:9–10).
This doesn’t mean Christians are called to shame or reject people. Quite the opposite—Jesus welcomed everyone, while also calling all people to repentance and a transformed life. Every single one of us, no matter our background or struggles, needs the grace of God and the power of the gospel to live in a way that honors Him.
It’s not about being “better than” anyone. It’s about recognizing that God’s design is for our good, and choosing to trust Him—even when it’s hard or countercultural.
