When it comes to the war in Israel and Gaza, the battle isn\u2019t only on the ground\u2014it\u2019s also in the headlines, on our screens, and in our social media feeds. Hamas knows it can\u2019t win a war militarily against Israel, so it has built its strategy around something else: propaganda.<\/p>\n
From the start, Hamas has worked to control the story the world sees. They stage scenes, limit what journalists can report, and carefully craft the images that make it out of Gaza. The goal is clear\u2014to present themselves as victims in order to gain sympathy, outrage, and political pressure against Israel. And sadly, much of the global media plays along, whether knowingly or not.<\/p>\n
The truth is far darker than the narrative being pushed. Reports and firsthand accounts show that Hamas steals humanitarian aid meant for civilians\u2014food, fuel, and medical supplies\u2014then resells it to the very people it\u2019s supposed to help. Instead of protecting their citizens, Hamas uses them as human shields, embedding weapons and fighters in schools, hospitals, and residential neighborhoods. Every tragic image of civilian suffering is then used to fuel the propaganda machine, while the real cause\u2014the deliberate tactics of Hamas\u2014is often left unspoken.<\/p>\n
This is not to say that the suffering of the people in Gaza isn\u2019t real\u2014it is. But much of that suffering is by design. Hamas needs the world to see the pain so they can shift the blame and rally international pressure against Israel. In this war, every photo, every headline, every clip that leaves out Hamas\u2019s role in creating the crisis becomes part of their battle plan.<\/p>\n
Propaganda is not an accident\u2014it\u2019s the strategy. And until more people recognize it for what it is, the truth will always be buried under the lies.<\/p>\n
