If you asked me why God should let me into heaven, the honest answer is\u2014He shouldn\u2019t. Not based on anything I\u2019ve done<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve made mistakes. I\u2019ve fallen short. No amount of good deeds, kindness, or effort could ever make me perfect\u2014and perfection is what a holy God requires<\/strong>. That\u2019s the hard truth. But here\u2019s the good news: I\u2019m not counting on my record. I\u2019m counting on Jesus.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Jesus lived the perfect life I couldn\u2019t, and then took the punishment I deserved. He didn\u2019t just die for sins\u2014He died for mine<\/strong>. And when He rose from the grave, He opened the way for anyone who trusts in Him to be forgiven and made right with God.<\/p>\n

So when I stand before God one day, I won\u2019t point to myself. I\u2019ll point to Jesus<\/strong>\u2014to His mercy, His sacrifice, and His promise that whoever believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life<\/strong> (John 3:16).<\/p>\n

That\u2019s why I know I\u2019ll be welcomed into heaven\u2014not because I earned it, but because Jesus paid it all<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
